Join the National Arts Centre Orchestra and special guest vocalist Capathia Jenkins as they celebrate the lasting legacy of the bonafide Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin! Performing updated arrangements of Franklin classics like "Chain Of Fools", "Respect", "Think", "Natural Woman" and many more, the ensemble does her music proud in this special tribute to the legend!

Forever synonymous with soul music at the height of its gospel awakening, Aretha Franklin and her powerful set of vocal pipes ruled the late 60s with hit after constant hit, continuing to rule the charts well into the 70s and 80s thanks to collaborations with the likes of Luther Vandross, Curtis Mayfield and George Micheal. Right up until her death in 2018, she continued to tour and release, remaining a true icon in the industry thanks to spell-binding, electrically-charged performances and that inimitable voice.
