Ballet Jorgen du Canada's unmissable holiday treat
Ballet Jorgen du Canada once again presents their very Canadian version of the Nutcracker. Choreographed by Bengt Jorgen to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition is a visual feast that features over 100 costumes, and backdrops comprised of well-known 20th Century artworks. Among the usual cavalcade of mice and tin soldiers, expect to see a few Mounties and lumberjacks.
Les Grands ballets Canadiens bring a must-see holiday classic on tour this Christmas, with a merry performance of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, marking sixty years since Fernand Nault first unveiled his special production of the classic with the company! With delightful costumes and sets along with the timeless musical score, an evening spent at a performance of this enchanting show is the perfect way to welcome in Christmas with the whole family.
