National Frontman on Solo Tour

The National frontman Matt Berninger continues his Get Sunk tour into 2026 with a new run of dates this spring. Released in 2025, it's Berninger's second solo effort outside of his work with the influential indie rock outfit, a band with whom he has helped to leave a lasting imprint on modern music, inspiring countless of the new generation of musicians be they in the spheres of indie, pop, folk and beyond. 

Hailing fron Cincinnati, OH, The National have been at the forefront of indie music since their formation in 1999. With great care invested in crafting every detail of their music and often dark, intense lyrics, the band carved the path for many of the acts that came after, with every album since 2010's High Violet reaching the top-10 in global music charts and a Grammy win for 2017's Sleep Well Beast. Their influence also extends beyond indie music, with individual members having produced, co-written or collaborated with artists including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Steve Reich and Paul Simon.
