While Fay's vocals are soft and sultry, they are immediately cut by the demonic growl of Dreimanis, an aural example of the ancient philosophy of yin and yang.

Why See July Talk?

Indie & RockConcerts

The Canadian Rockers Hit Us Shores

Formed in Toronto in 2012, Juno Award-winning Canadian quintet July Talk mixes shades of blues, garage punk and indie rock with explosive results. Deftly combining ballistic riffs with driving anthem-like drums, strong-hooks and deliciously dark lyrics, the band puts on a high energy show that you won't want to miss.

Ice and fire meet in the vocal interplay of July Talk's Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay. Exploring light and shade together, the growling fire of Dreimani's voice melds beautifully with Fay's soft yet soaring soprano. Their propensity for offsetting heavy, angry rock 'n' roll with more subtle, hypnotic moments keeps audiences on their toes.
