This was the first time I have seen Chris in concert and I was thrilled. He really connects with his audience and his music is timeless. The only negative for me was the 2 ladies sitting beside me and the two ladies in front of me in the 33rd and 32nd row that insisted on talking thru the entire concert.
Not sure why they came to a concert. Surely it was not to listen to the awesome music.

TIMELESS
The 1st time I saw Chris de Burgh was in 1975 backing up Supertramp. He hasn't lost a step. He is a great balladeer. His voice was great, his music, his storytelling, his jokes, everything was fantastic. He did 3 encores and one of them wa of course, Patricia the Stripper. I certainly got my money's worth.

GREAT SHOW!
I had last seen him about 15 years ago, and was not disappointed then or on April 17th show! He is a great storyteller and brings his Irish heritage to the forefront in the first half of the show. 2.5 hours of singing half alone and half with his band, was amazing!

CHRIS DE BURGH WINNIPEG CONCERT
My 4 siblings and I have been Chris de Burgh fans for many years. We all were at a concert of his a few years after Spanish Train release. It was a 5 star night! Three of us were able to attend the April 29 show in Winnipeg.
Chris is a tremendous shoman with crowd connection that few have. His band was top notch talent also. The drums sound pickup was the best we had heard at any concert. The mix of old favourites and ''newer old songs '' (LOL) was very well done, as was the order he played them in for maximizing impact.
As Chris was bidding good night , his gracious ways made us feel like an old friend was saying '' great to see you, may we meet again! "
As always the concert hall was a pleasure to see an event within its walls.

STILL FANTASTIC
He is still fantastic this is the second time we have seen him live, the first was Glasgow, Scotland ,20ish years ago, he was fantastic then and was still the same last night in Edmonton.
We have been evacuated from our home in Drayton Valley due to an out of control wildfire and Chris and his music was just the tonic we needed to lift our spirits and help us escape from our worries. Thank you Chris.

CHRIS DE BURGH APRIL 16 CONCERT AT PLACE DES ARTS MONTREAL
My wife and I flew from Columbus, Ohio to see the concert. We had seats in the second row. We've been fans of CDB since the 70's. Highly recommend seeing him if you are a fan and haven't seen him live. He has so many great songs, it's difficult to play them all. There were a few of our favorites he didn't play but he played many hits and overall, a great show.

LONDON ON REVIEWS
Good overall show. Missed lower voice tone he used in many of his old songs as the higher voice falsetto just doesn’t work so well anymore. Not as powerful.
