The words 'Elvis tribute' often conjure up images of paunchy middle-aged men in spangly jumpsuits and aviator glasses, but fear not, because the Elvis Experience is the real deal! Le Capitole Theatre in Quebec has been home to many Elvis tribute shows over the years, including the Elvis Story, which was subsequently seen by millions the world over. This new show, which features a live band of 24 musicians and 8 back-up singers, stars Martin Fontaine as the King himself, and concentrates on Elvis' Las Vegas years.
Expect to hear tracks like 'Suspicious Minds', 'Can't Help Falling In Love' and 'The Wonder Of You', delivered with note for note perfection by Fontaine, and remind yourself why these songs changed popular music forever.
